Look at the good side now you have more time to put it back together and she can put some nice flower decals on there. :smilewink:   All our 4th plans got rained out as well. :(

Good point, although a fair number of chicks I've seen at Walmart were probably wearing men's underwear.

She's definitley not imaginary. She is pretty awesome. She just made me supper and told me she has to change valve cover gaskets on her Chrysler Pacifica on Friday. Here is a pic of us from Sunday. We went to a church service for my aunt celebrating her 60th year as a nun. My aunt is 78 years old and still pretty spry. We happened to be cleaned up and we were forced to take a picture....I hate pictures!  I'm not turning this into a religious post, so keep it polite please.

I have not gotten to go on a poker run myself yet. I have either been working, or they have been cancelled. My brother said they usually are about two to three hours, give or take. There are 3-5 destinations. At each destination you draw a card from a deck. It is recorded on your sheet and at the end the best poker hand gets a prize.

They are mostly within city/village limits. A variance or permit is sometimes required. It usually is for the benefit of an organization. Breast cancer, autism, local family in need etc. Some towns require a police escort. The officer usually just hangs in the rear and makes sure no one gets run over or gets too out of hand. There have never been highways and a few county roads.

Hey guys!

I got to attend my first lawn mower poker run today. It was a blast! I drove the Panzer pulling a garden cart with the girlfriend, cooler and miscellaneous supplies. The Panzer ran pretty good, and like I expected, was the only one there. I didn't do too many donuts due to the trailer. We had a great day. The temperature was 78 and there was a light breeze most of the day. There were a few break downs, but nothing catastrophic. It is amazing some of the mowers that are still out there. There were Bolens, Husky, Wheel Horse, John Deere, Cub Cadet Dixie Shopper and so many more. There were an estimated 150 people attend. There was a JC Penny mower there I sold a guy a year or so ago. He had painted it up, but the throttle cable broke on him. So he was reduced to being towed the rest of the day. I'll get some pictures posted asap. Catch you all later.

Hey guys, as promised, here are some pictures of the St. Libory IL Lawn mower poker run. It was sponsored by their Fire Department. We were escorted the entire route. We stopped at five locations and we all had a blast! I pulled random pictures from facebook. These are a great group of people. While riding the Panzer, my wallet started to become uncomfortable, so I handed it to my girlfriend to hold on to. I thought she put it with her clutch thingy. Nope, she put it under her leg on the lawnchair. Needless to say, the route got a little roudy here and there. There may have been a fender bender or two and she dropped it. We back tracked the route and never found it. Well, I won an attendance prize and no kidding, someone found my wallet and turned it in....everything intact. I never found out who turned it in though. I would have liked to thank them in person and with a little get home cash. Anyway enjoy the pics.

Looks like that was a blast!  I love all the different, imaginative mowers.  How the fire dept. raise a lot of money.
