Hi Ya'll! I have a few tractors and equipment.  I have a 317 garden, I got a 48 an 54" deck for it I also have a tiller and front and rear  plow.

I have a 216 with a cast iron Kohler that's that's got 40 over hc pistons, shaved and flowed head and header pipe, and bored and flowed carb should be right round 23 hp. it has a 48" deck.

My pride and joy though is my lx 277 it has a Kawasaki motor putting out 32 hp  and a 50 inch deck.nothing hasn't been gone thru and fixed the way it should be. it has a 52 inch deck and will mow 12" high grass with hydro to the metal all day long. I don't have a ton of money in them but do have a ton of time in each one. my only problem with em is the genius that decided fiberglass would make a good hood. if any body has his name and pic I'd like to post it on worlds dumbest engineers site, he'd win easily. I also usually have access to most stuff jd so if I can help out I will but I don't get on here much so may be way slow. thanks T.O

Welcome to GTTalk. Some nice tractors in your garage.  I'm currently restoring a 317 that was in pretty bad shape.

From my uderstanding that the reason JD went with fiberglass hoods is what they was seeing on other bands that when the hoods got scratched that they would start to rust.  Also to help keep the hood noise down when running.   It is not their fault people do not know how to use the brakes to stop from running into stuff. :rolling:
