Wow that's a lot of water in the yard... You sure the pool isn't leaking?

I just read online that fresh produce grown in the South Jersey area is being hit hard. And prices will reflect it very soon. First batch of corn is out, I'll find out what it costs when I pick up a few dozen ears for the 4 TH.

We're pretty much being missed by most of that Jersey rain as it passes on by. We've had tropical humidity every day for about the past two weeks with small pop-up showers at any moment and nothing will dry out due to the humidity. But, none of the showers are really amounting to much accumulation. I think they're still saying we're behind for the year.
One thing's for sure, it's no fun mowing wet grass. I scraped 12lbs (confirmed with a scale) of decaying grass buildup out from under my GTX-18 deck last week.

Yeah this rain is going to cause tomato issues if it keeps up much longer.... I weeded my garden last night and went to till it with the Troy-Built of my Bro's and buried it ! I guess I'll need to wait to finish that LOL.

They must be huge !! I think they all drowned here.
With all this rain, it seems like the tree frogs are bigger and louder then ever here. The wooded area behind my house sounds like a swamp at night. I assume they are tree frogs, haven't seen what's making all the racket at night. I do know it's loud !! And when they start making noise, the wild turkeys living back there chime in too. It gets so loud that we have to close all the windows just to hear the TV
I could listen to nature all night and sleep like a baby. All I get to hear is traffic, occasional football games, drunken natives, and sirens, occasionally punctured by a gunshot.
I would almost give my Gonads for a bigger piece of land away from the city
