Do you folks in the Midwest remember last year? Hot, dry, crops drying up. Did you all pray real hard for rain? Be careful what you ask for!!!

Please Stop !

Could be worse. There is huge flooding in Alberta including the city of Calgary. Billions in damages. Whole towns under water.

The flooding there was up to the 14th row of their stadium.

We are well above our yearly average of rain fall for the year and now we have dropped into our summer routine of a chance of rain each afternoon. The folks out in Colorado sure could use some of this wet stuff.

Edmonton isn't much better, the River is getting pretty high, and the rain shows no sign of letting up. I have water in the basement, and the neighbors garage has 4" of water in it.
Fortunately, Edmonton doesn't have as much flood plain development as Calgary.
My sister is there, and she's OK, but a lot of people are still out of their homes.
It's the downstream residents that have to worry now.

They must be huge !! I think they all drowned here.
With all this rain, it seems like the tree frogs are bigger and louder then ever here. The wooded area behind my house sounds like a swamp at night. I assume they are tree frogs, haven't seen what's making all the racket at night. I do know it's loud !! And when they start making noise, the wild turkeys living back there chime in too. It gets so loud that we have to close all the windows just to hear the TV
