  I do not know model or year , motor was a briggs now trash . Belongs to a friend . I know the seat spring is not stock .

Member Wvbuzzmaster will know for sure, as I can't tell you. The tractor looks to be in nice shape and just needs to be cleaned up and painted, even the fenders look good. Good Luck !!

If you know the HP or any other info from the original engine, it would help in I.D.ing it.

Its a model 36 , should of originally had a 6hp Kohler Vertical as it has the grille extention/riser. should be 62,63 or 64.

   Thanks  Did the Kohler's  & Briggs have the same mounting pattern , there is only one set of holes .

I missed this for some time. The year is 1963, as the front axle is straight and grill is smooth. This would be a model 63te-6 Springfield. The engine would have been a briggs 6hp model number 146701 or 146702, only difference is rope start vs electric start. However, a 7hp Briggs model 17---- is easier to find and bolts up just fine. Good luck with it.
