After a huge year last year and some major pruning we were not expecting a big crop this year, well we are off to a great start, the bushes are loaded again this year.  I have even seen a bit of blue starting to show on the low bush berries!!  How do other folks berry crops look this year?

I bought 6 blueberry bushes this spring through mail order.  Tiny little things they were, but 2 of them have a few blueberries this year!  I pickerd my 1st homegrown single blueberry today.  Teresa & I split it!  :D   Hoping they will grow a lot & give us more next year.

Have tried growing some myself for a few years. Have got about 6 cups so far this year. Got none last year due to birds, fixed this year with 7' fence and bird netting over fence. Use a bit of sulfur or other acid plant food to help plants grow.

We have 4 bushes covered by netting. Everything seems to love eating blueberries and we have lost most of them to birds in the past. Lots of blossoms on them this year so hopefully we'll get a few to eat.

Our blueberries are looking good so for. They should be ripe in about 2 weeks. We have had them in about 4 years. We also have some blackberries that are looking good this year.

After 4 years, how many berries are set this year?
