Our church hosted a group of 60+ HS students from Minnesota overnight. They arrived just in time to enjoy a meal last night and present their play, The Ark, to an audience of about 110. They spent the night camped out in the church and we prepared a breakfast for them. They were a great bunch of people and we were happy to support them as part of their tour.

It turned out that we have a couple in our congregation who are from that area of Minnesota and along with many other volunteers we made them as welcome as possible. It was a very rewarding experience for all the volunteers and I hope a good time for these great youth from Minnesota.

I've attached a copy of one of the posters we used to promote the play. The group was from Sauk Rapids.

Sound like a great time.  It is always interesting to meet people from other places.

Maybe they will be back next year and we will have a bit more time with them. We literally only had a couple of hours with them other than the play itself.  We did manage to give them 2 great meals and our minister is guiding them on a bit of site seeing this morning before they head to their next stop.
