Might better hire a maid. Or if it is really bad just burn the house down and say it was arson. She will go for it.

Wife's still not home yet. They took her off the wound vaucuum last Saturday, but put it back on yesterday ( July 17 )  They fitted her with a brace last week, and she is having difficulty getting her shoe on with it in it ( brace in shoe )  Surgeon knicked a tendon or nerve so now she as a "drop foot".  It "might" come back in a year or so.   Still, with the brace and using the walker her walking stride isbetter than it's been in many, many years.  I thought I was going to hug the guy who put the brace on, but immediately thought of  TG and LilysDad so I didn't .   lol !!  She's feeling well and doing well in therapy. NOW it's up to the wound infectious disease specialist to let us know when she can go home.  We go back to the surgeon again on August 2nd.  He's been encouraging.  My poor wife is going stir crazy now that she feels better than she has in years and can't come home yet............. and BOY, do I miss her.Watching tv at night I'll start to say something, and look over at her empty power recliner.     Okay, that's the latest.  thnaks for all the well wishes folks.      I keep telling her " Pretty soon, Hon, pretty soon....."

OH, and this morning she was able to get into our little Hyundai hatchback; so we won't need to use her aunt's Crown Vic.  THAT will save about 4 gallons of gas just going to the surgeon's office, lol !

It's nice to be thought of in the midst of your troubles!

Hang in there OT, time will pass. When I was in the hospital, it was nice to get coloring books and crayons, or comic books. Just sayin' .....
