Onan Parts Supplier Needed

Hi Guys; bought a new to me wheel horse a 416-8, sight unseen, was told it had no spark. well this unit has an onan motor in it, my first onan, i am having trouble finding parts locally up here in canada so if i have to ship them i might as well order from the states, i need a trigger ring and a ignition moduel, does anyone know of a supplier? thanks john

In the USA, I believe Cummins Diesel was supplying parts for Onan, Have you tried the diesel shop?

tractordata says your Onan is a P216 and Wheelhorse used that motor in the 416-8 from '89 to '92

Guy on MTF named Boomers-influence has a lot of used Onan parts and can usually get what you need or direct you. I'm pretty sure he will ship to Canada.

Check local Cummins dealers. I think they supply parts in Canada as well. The parts tend to be expensive! Also an RV dealer with a service dept. might be able to help as a lot of RV gen sets are Onan twin powered .
