Howdy folks from Collinsville, OK. I finally got internet just a few minutes ago. Now to see what you all have been up to!

Sad news! Blowed the Ford engine. rod broke! But it didn't lock up or break the block. Should be rebuildable!

Sounds like what my Allis 416 did a few years ago, except my rod didn't let go.  Turned out that I could tell the rod's oil dipper broke first, then seized the rod for lack of lube.  Just used muriatic acid to eat the aluminum off the crank journal, emery clothed the journal, new rod, and back in business.
