What are you people using for mufflers on the older tractors?   The muffler on my HH120 has seen a lot of welding.  I'm new to GTs, but I think my SS12 is way to loud.  Any recommendations?

What's your type number?  I believe I have at least one of every Tecumseh muffler made.

I have been using the old pepper shaker style for the most part.

Do you have a link to photos of the muffler Caseguy makes?  My main interest is in a quieter muffler.  I where ear defenders at work, most days.  It would be nice to cut the lawn w/o them.

Thanks,  H

Well, that type brings up the one muffler I don't have anymore.  Your part number is 32043a.

Let me take that back: I do have one, but its not NOS, its an aftermarket pepper pot.  I would go to Lowes or someplace like that and get one for $9 and save your ears.

Thanks Ben,  I will do that.  We don't have a Lowes here, but we have a few small engine outfits around here.  I'll get one from one of them.  My pockets are not deep enough to  purchase one of "Caseguys" mufflers.  His stuff is made of Stainless, lasts forever, but it's a pain to work with.  I would not hesitate, if I had the money.
