Well since its Fathers Day, I am out in the kitchen fixing supper.

First is a Mequite marinaded Pork Loin, slow cooked with potatoes, onions and carrots.
Next is fresh slow cooked Collard Greens from the garden, with bacon and onion.
Last I am trying my hand at some homemade BBQ sauce for the Pork.

Well I'm going to have to work on the sauce a bit, I like a thin, vinegar type sauce. I had a bit to much vinegar in it.

The rest of supper was good. I just love fresh greens.

You know, a person can garner some warning points around here for posting a topic so delicious as this and not offering up picks. Sounds like it was quite the feast.

Your meal sounds like a slice of heaven.  Thanks for sharing it with us.  I hope you tweak the sauce just right soon.

I just don't like store bought sauces, so I am trying to make my own.
