Congrats on the new tractors. A loader is a sweet thing to have! The 317 has been repowered with a Magnum which is good news!

Couple of nice rides there US, can't wait to see it in action with the loader.

Let's see, you've sold three and bought three. I think you have this addiction licked... :rolling:

I don't know if it's licked, or merely in remission.... :driving_big_tractor:

Yeah.  I can start it by dribbling gas down the air intake, but I think the carb is gunked up (that's a technical term) 'cause it won't stay running... Hopefully I can get to it this weekend.

Nice looking additions. Both look to be in pretty good shape! Get that loader hooked up and use it!

Those carbs aren't hard to clean. You can get a carb kit pretty cheap at the JD dealer or a local Kohler dealer. I'm not sure if a Magnum has points or an electronic ignition. If it has points then it's worth having a look at them now before they give you grief later on. Marginal points will cause all kinds of poor running symptoms.

No points on any Magnums I don't think.

You look darn good on that tractor. I hope you get a lot of good service out of them.

I'm not sure on all Magnums, but this one has a sticker that says it's solid state ignition. Also pressure lube system and filter.  My understanding is that the Magnums are essentially a K-series engine with improvements, but many parts still interchange.
