Another Snappin' Turtle

This makes my 3rd one. Would you call that a collection?

Last weekend a young man had one of these at the Evansville Indiana show. He was mowing little spots here and there.

I finally realized it was self propelled and you could turn the cutting blade on and off.

Very neat....How old of a mower is it?

I haven't done any serial number searches, but early fifties. This one has a Briggs on it and the other two have Wisconsins.

If i am not mistaken, this style of Snappin' Turtles was also made in the early to mid-1960's.
