Have taken my tiller for MTD to couple shows and no interest in it.Thought was sold today, but later guy came back and it turns wrong way for his Non MTD tractor, so didn't want it after-all. Seems to need a new bearing and seal in drive shaft end on tiller. I will give this thing to anyone who is willing to come get it. Tired of hauling around and no room to keep. Trying to empty shop this summer. I'm in NE Indiana, near FT. Wayne, not far from I-69 or US24. Drop me a PM if you wanna come get it. Won't ship!

If a tiller turns the wrong way due to a change in application, just remove tines and swap sides.

NOt sure who or what Kenny P's tractor is.   Should fit any 990 MTD with a three-point and the pto drive that is below engine that uses shaft drive to implement, would think. The shaft with this one is very long and goes from front pto back to tiller.

ON mods???  Tiller is a shaft drive, with input that can only face one way. Not a belt drive that I can see turning around MAYBE??

Seems many later tractors have engines turned around and run off the flywheel side. These run off the shaft side and are turned 180. Rotation is opposite on both types. Just like PK's that have left and right output mower decks. Have to have correct one to match engine rotation.

Wish I were closer, as I'd be glad to take it off your hands!  You're not "that" far away, but far enough I can't afford the gas money right now.

Tiller is gotten by Walkin' Man. He drives truck over here from ILL and I met him at a stop and made the switch to his truck.  More room at the Inn now......hmm, not really......not much diff here yet. More to go soon.

A big "thank you" to glgrumpy for loading the tiller up and driving way out of his way (after he got off of work!) to meet up with me and donate it to my project! It was good to meet you and much appreciated!
