I was just rummaging through some stuff to maybe sell on eBay to pay for the garden tiller I want for my 214 when...it appeared in a beacon of light! My MF10 serial number sticker that I so carefully peeled off and put in a "safe" place where I would find it after my restoration was complete. Well, 2 years went by and it finally showed its beautiful self to me. Now, does anyone know what would be a good adhesive to use to stick her (sticker - ha!) back on???

You know, I am wondering the same thing. My MF12 sticker badge is in my toolbox & waiting to be applied. I think some of that ultra-thin super strong double side tape would work good (like car window awnings are applied with).

OUCH...the exterior 3M double side tape is expensive!!!!!!!!! Just looked it up. Back to the drawing board unless......an automotive custom shop might fix us up with just what little tape we would need.

I knew that 3M made something like this, finally found a link that shows it. This guy is putting stickers back on a pinball machine,LOL
Using 3M 467MP adhesive to reapply pinball decals

Then I found it on 3M's site. 3M

If you click on the literature tab, you can open A Very Technical Selection Guide
and a list of specs for the 200 MP adhesive family

Use info at own peril

I have some very thin high strength clear two-sided tape that I use for turning wood on my lathe. Yes, I use it to stick the wood to a face plate! I would be glad to send it to anyone who needs some to put a tag back on. Just shoot me your address in a PM and I will shoot you out enough to do a couple tags.

For the guys who requested some tape, it's in the mail to you as of this morning. If anyone else needs a little, just ask!

It's really not a big deal, in fact, the roll of tape was even given to me a couple years ago. I don't use it too often and the roll is a good 3" thick!
