Here in germany we have since 1933 an organisation called GEMA (Gesellschaft für musikalische Aufführungs- und mechanische Vervielfältigungsrechte). And if you play music in public, you have to pay a fee to the GEMA, who shares it out to the copyright owners.
So when the copyright is unclear, you'll find this
... and the vid is blocked.

Explain to me please.. what happens if you play music in your car with the window down.. That's public all of a sudden.. Strange world we live in...

I get something similar on some rock vides..
Explain to me please.. what happens if you play music in your car with the window down.. That's public all of a sudden.. Strange world we live in...
First: the fee for the radio in my car is paid w/ the fee for my radio/tv/pc... at home.
Second: otherwise I have to pay a fee, when I use music in commercial events (like an oldtimer tractor show).
