Go to any appliance repair shop and get a 5" plastic cooling fan from a GE fridge or freezer, you will have to enlarge the center hole, but that's easy, I drill it a little small then heat the shaft with a torch and slide it on. They cost about 5 bucks at the AP store.

Go ahead & now the lawn.  The MF14 has a Sundstrand hydro with no cooling fins on the hydro unit, so the fan does little for cooling anyway.  Best thing is to add a small cooler of some sort.  The small power steering cooling units on some auto's would do fine even without a fan blowing on them.

Chances are, you won't find a new one, and any older used one you get, probably

won't last long. Good suggestion from OkieGT, or as Olcowhand said, just go

cut the grass without it.

Cutting the tall grass, will put more strain/load on the deck/engine, than the

hydro. Different story, if you where pushing, or pulling a heavy load.

Oh yeah, Welcome to GTT.

Nice to have another Massey around.

We'd sure like to see some pics of your MF, when you get a chance.

A friend of mine saw my Massey MF14 fan and he works on appliances and said it looked like a freezer/fridge fan, sur enough we matched up to one exactly like it except the shaft size and that was easy to change
