Just watching the weather and it looks like my area is gonna get hammered shortly. There's rotation and a funnel cloud in the storm that's pointed at me...keeping my fingers crossed that everything survives it

They said that the Shenandoah Valley's potential problem is coming tomorrow.  I heard that the conditions are right for a derecho storm like we had last June. How they know that when it appears "suddenly and without warning" is hard to say.

You all be safe down there.. we just hid from a nasty one. had a couple tornados touch down and a water spout off a lake. Strong winds and lots of rain in a short period.  Things have calmed off now and no damage.. We just caught the edge of the storm..

We had 1.2" of rain between 5:30 and 6:00 PM. More to come, I guess.

Under Flood Watch. Not much has started yet. High winds up to 20 mph and good ole thunder and lightning. All in all not too worried. Right on the edge here from the looks of it.

It got windy enough about 7pm that I could not pitch mullch where I wanted it. So I unloaded the tralier and puut the tractor away for the night. Have not heard a lot so far. I know two tornados touched down up north, I understand Belmont got hit pretty hard and Hampton had one too. Rightnow here we have wind abou 15 mph and there is a very black cloud that goes off to the north.
