I picked up a 917.575.60 the other day, and since I sold the 917.575.138 I've decided to restore it. I got a cultivator and plow with it, and the best part is it was free! I'll be following mr. Pat's example in my restoration and hope it comes out as nice. Enjoy!

I have a hood with holes in it as well, if you keep looking you can find a decent one.

Also for tires I bought BKT 6X16's after mounting they were about $225.

That is a great find! And free too? As rough as at it may look right now there's actually a new tractor under there. Patience and a lot of cleaning and you'll have a very nice tractor. I look forward to seeing your progress.

I'm hoping I can do as well as both of your restorations! @ amigatec I'll have to look and find out if its the round top ( I know this is a stupid question, but what's the difference?)

Also, what color paint did you use, and where did you get it?

I used IH red and JD green. The correct color of green s half and half JD green and JD yellow.

I used Ford Grey on the motor.

The round top motor is like the one in mine.

I used Rustoleum Proffessional Safety Red and Rustoleum Fern Green. The inside of my wheels were in nice shape. I taped over an area and sprayed the green for comparison and it's really close.

Vstrom803 and amigatec do y'all have more under the hood pictures, and other pictures I could use for comparison? Thanks!
