Is there some secret to installing the bushings for the forward reverse lever? The new bushings fit loose in the dash tower and will just fall out again. There was one old one in there and it was tight in the same bore. I thought about putting them in backwards so they cant fall out. By the look of things, Massey should have put bosses on the outside of the tower so the collars on the shaft can't force the bushings out of the dash tower.

I ended up putting the bushings in with the flange inside the dash tower they can't ever fall out again. To achieve this I had to remove the 2 shims at the left of the shaft so the tower was not putting pressure on the bushings. Everything seems to work fine now and the hydra speed handle isn't flopping around like a fish. When it stops raining tomorrow, I'll be able to mow, and note the improvement.
