these are not bolens factory? that is nice to know. what do the factory one look like?

As far as I know, Bolens made two different Dual Wheel Adapter kits.

 

The one I have is for the large frames with 15" wheels and is a 'deep dish wheel' that just bolts onto existing holes in the hub.

The other one was for the 600 & 800 which have a narrow 12" wheel.  It was a pair of standard wheels with extension hubs. I doubt that the extensions would work with the later wide rear wheels/tires.
