Not much of anything other than replace a headlight switch which was nothng more than placing the new one in the socket and pluging the wire horness into it.

Bought a new to me 1969 140H3. So I guess you could say I looked it over. I attached the deck and checked it over.

Would you prefer to borrow my .44 Mag?  I know how you feel, I've even thought about shooting a pickup I used to own when it quit running out on the deer lease and I had to walk roughly 6 miles to use a phone.  (That was before cell phones.)

Well got a break from my bathroom remodel (waiting on grout to dry). I came out to replace the variator spring on the 112. It was a success after some choice words and some pry bar slips. On one of those slips I managed to break the secondary drive spring. Guess another trip to the JD dealership for a new one. Hopefully after this that will solve my slipping drive belts considering they only have about 8 hours on them.

Just serviced up my snowblower and topped off the fuel, got another foot of snow coming... good grief!! I think I've had enough seat time this winter!! And every danged storm was a dumper too . Fabco did a nice job on this blower, as it has been very good and really throws the stuff. I'm happy :)

Yesterday, I installed the CAT 0 EZ-Hitch on the HDT1000.

Pretty slick goodie, and sure makes  mounting a 3-pt implement a lot easier :D :D :D

Before on the far left, after on the right.

Well, between today, and last weekend, I did the following work to my "new to me" 2002 Simplicity Conquest:

Changed the motor oil and filter with Amsoil 10w30 synthetic oil and a WIX filter, changed the transaxle fluid with Castrol Edge 5w50 synthetic oil, replaced the spark plugs (engine had original plugs), breather hose and fuel lines under the hood (these were cracked), fuel filter, and seat safety switch (this had intermittent problems), replaced the deck lift handle grip and push button (this was missing), set the tappet clearances, lubed the chassis and deck, replaced the drive belt idler pulley (this was bent from a previous owner hitting it with the plow mount), cleaned the carburetor, degreased the engine, aired up the tires, scraped the mower deck, and replaced the blades.

Oh yeah, and I washed and waxed it. I THINK I'm ready for mowing, and moving some dirt with my plow this summer. I still have some minor rust under one the floorboard pads to fix.

Removed a bad starter solenoid off my Kubota G4200, then cleared a blocked fuel line in my Bush Hog D4-10.  Then I removed & re-installed the emulsion tube in the carb on my Unico 15.....still leaks.
