I'll redo the painting of the tractor and draining the gearbox oil and filter change.
I received my stickers for the tractor (MAPLE HUNTER Decals Texas).
And finally change the front tires.

Fixed rear motor mounts on my Jd 312. Would have done more but Jd dealer didn't have all my parts. The hard part is that who owned my tractor before me welded plates over where mount would be front & back so I will have lots of work in near future.

Haven't been able to do much the last couple of weeks, daughter and grandchildren were here from Cut & Shoot (near Houston). Thought I had a blown head gasket on the MF14 and the gasket came in the other day. Today I put in new points, carb. kit, condenser and replaced the blown head gasket. That thing was blown almost completely into around the #1 head bolt and blowing oil out the side of the engine. Noticed the piston had 030 stamped on it so I guess it's already been bored out 30 over. Whoever put the head on last, the PO or whoever he had work on it just snugged up the head bolts, they were all fairly loose. Torqued to 25 ft. lbs. and ran until the motor was good and hot then torqued to 30 ft. lbs. It now runs and sounds great.

Yesterday installed the Bush Hog D4-10's headlights, rewired them also, from bulb back. Likely do nothing today, as it's silage time.

Did a whole lot of painting today. First up was the wide rims for my 318 that I'm mounting 26x12x12 True Powers on. Next was the stock 318 rims that are getting 18x7x8 Multi tracs. Then it was on to 4 50# cast weights that I picked up on Saturday. Starting to get excited about getting it all put on the 318.

I put the tool box and fenders back on the Bolens 800 to get it ready for the big tractor show, here in Dover,PA. I removed them this winter to make more clearance for the tire chains. All the tractors got some gas added to their tank and the oil checked. George wants to start hauling our tractors to the show tomorrow.

Gas tank sprang a leak and tried to weld it up- not fun- every time I struck a bead I blew a hole in the darn thing, now I think I'm going to replace it.

Yes I did remove the gas and filled it with water and flushed it out Before I started to weld on it :)

Them there tanks are soldered together nice to find that out after the fact
