I got the Snapper 1655 loaded up on the trailer to take it to it's new owner after work tomorrow. I also finished the wiring on the Massey 1655 from the engine swap. Still gotta get the seat back on but she seems to be doing good other then the loader didn't want to lift the mower deck off the trailer. Going to be new valve time in the near future.

Saturday I replaced the exhaust valve in the 165, and got it all put back together and running. Also changed back to 30wt. Then I brought the GT5000 to the shop and started the tear down to get the carb off to clean. After the carb cleaning this week it will get its oil changed.

Going to mow once before sharpening the blade incase I find a lot of stick from the winter with it.

Yesterday (monday) I fixed the de thatcher. replaced the little hard rubber and plastic wheels with 10" pneumatic tires.

I just pick up a Cub Cadet model 1872 yesterday. I plan on going over it today both mechanically and cosmetically. It has a 50" deck that has some surface rust so I plan on cleaning that up to get it ready for the mowing season. I can't believe the previous owner still had grass clumped on the under side of the mower deck from last year. Too lazy to take time to clean it at the end of the season. I'm also going to see if my snow blower from my Cub 129 will hook up to the 1872. I hope it will. If anyone knows please get back to me.

Smashed it with a 4ft pipe wrench till it bled engine and tranny oil.
It just won't run right.:wallbanging::wallbanging:
Then I went to anger management class.

Now I'm wondering, if JB weld is the way to go.:smilewink:

Na, didn't do that, but at one point I thought about it.:smilewink:

Yesterday I cleaned the carb on the Craftsman Gt5000. That didn't take care of the surging, so I did a little more investigating and I think it is govenor related.

Time to study the service manual.

Finally got back to Ryan's plow. We got it dialed in as best we can until we get to plow day and see what we need to do to it to plow in good dirt LOL. Also got the Brinly discs fixed and tested.

Ryan got to plow and disc Grandma & Grandpa's tomato garden. It ready for plants now :D

We did have to play with the carb some on the MF10, it kept shutting down. About every 3 minutes like you turned off the key. We must've gotten some dirt as after I pulled out the main adjustment screw and put it back together, it ran fine.

The best part of today was the smiles from my kid.
He's loving tractor ownership and even said "I love it!" when grandma asked him.

WooHOO...pics from Maynard! The receiver looks good, from distant view. When I click for close-up, my eyes try to cross! LOL Is this your problematic camera Maynard?
