messed with the Ford LGT 165 some. see http://gardentractor...-problems-4270/ for more info.

I did push it from the barn to the shop, so working on it will be easier and more comfortable.

I got the Eaton 11 hydro put in the Snapper 1655 last night and finished the linkages, drive shaft and plumbing hook ups. Filled the transmission with fluid and took it for a spin to see if it was any better. Definitely working now, although a lot slower then the Massey 1655 with the Sundstrand hydro it is definitely working like it should now and no funny noises.

Going to work on the charging system tonight and hopefully it will be an easy fix. Then just have to prep it for it's new owner LOL.

I finished taking apart one of my 1969 Jd.140's for a parts donor to fix some of the other and to sell parts off of. It's now down to bare frame...

Got the Phone call that the area Fab shop was done with Ryan's Seat, He and Mom went & picked it up tonight. They did a nice job.

Took the Wheels & Hitch up too. I think he's pretty happy with what we've done so far... now for the rest of the tractor... AFTER the Plow Days LOL.

All I had time to do today was to cut & bend some pipe for seat rails to go on the JB diesel before milking tonight.

Went to the parts store and picked up a new drive belt for the 314 and installed it in preparation for the upcoming plow day. I also pulled the seat, the seat deck, and the shifter plate. I had to make some adjustments to the guide tube for the rear lift and replace the shifter boot (which the parts store did not have in stock :confuse:)which was in tatters! Tomorrow I hope to get the ags installed on the rear and the lift cable installed and adjusted. If the weather ever improves, I'd like to get the plow cleaned up and painted.

my 318 has had a small oil leak since the day i got it . well yesterday i was plowing up a food plot for the wildlife and i started smelling oil and looked under it and it was not a leak any longer it was a gusher . after a good search i seen it was the aluminum domahicky where the oil filter and sending unit are mounted . there are two bolts that fasten it to the block and the bottom bolt had pulled the treads out and the bolt was just hanging there . i had to tap it out to a 3/8 but its back together with no leaks so i should get more acres to the quart now . well got to go the crappie are biting

I installed a new usage gauge on the Elec Trak. It was one of the few things on the tractor that did not work when I got it. I then replaced the burnt out headlight bulb.

IMG_2571.jpg

I was able to see immediately if the bulb worked. The gauge did not do anything when I pulled the tractor out of the garage and turned on the snowblower. We'll have to see if putting it under a load makes a difference.

Replaced one of the solenoids on E20 going to Casey. Took time out to show new pigs to two little boys visiting. Dan's welding project reminds me of some of projects to be done later.

I decided to go over my Honda ht3810 today, and changed the oil ,and trany oil. It is the same oil for the engine as for the trany 40 weight oil!!! It seems to have a whine in the trany and not sure if it is normal, but the trany was down about a pint. No change at all!! It is difficult to find info on this riding mower but it came with the house so I will keep it for my new lawn sweeper and use it until it dies.

Ryan (and Dad) mounted the weights on the MF10 today after filling the tires. They look OK for rapid paint with no filler in the casting flaws. We are running out if time and just had to get them on today. Also put the plow on the back, but the setup story is in another thread.
