Figured out the 3pt hitch and hooked up the Titan trailer hitch.

I built a wooden box , that goes on top of the disc' - to throw rocks in for added weight if needed . Just for fun.

What you can't see is the new 'air-vane governor installed . My motor had mechanical , but my uncle fabricated an air-vane type just like the original . I put it on and it works great , I was worried because this engine had a tendency to race sometimes and the throttle was so close to the shifter so it was easy to hit by accident . It is nice to have a little more of a comfort level there. I don't want to blow it apart .

I put a new fuel pump on the 318 today.  I used one of those mikuni types....I mounted it on the firewall and changed the length of the hoses.  works great.

I was cleaning up the garage this morning , what a mess . And came across the extra engine cover I got this winter for my tractor (I used the other for condition reasons) . A thought crossed my mind and the next thing I knew ... A 'Shop Clock' :smilewink:

attachicon.gif002.JPG

I am obviously not a 'pin-striper' . That will need more work .

Oh ,  I did get all of the 'tags' put back on the attachments.

the cover clock looks kool

SANY0001.JPG

Started here

SANY0002.JPG

Fished new hose through here (tape over ends)

SANY0003.JPG

Finished here. Connections made after blowing high pressure air through to make sure no filings or grit from when parts store made up the hose.

SANY0004.JPG

Over view of unit.

6 and 2/3 quarts of Amsoil 5w-30 hyd-trans oil and it works like new. The only oil Ventrac uses is Amsoil, sure didn't want to chance mixing types or brands at this point.

Note: the dealer wanted $36.50 per quart for the oil and $104 for the hose... :loosing_it:

I bought the fluid direct from an Amsoil dealer for around $10 a quart and O'Reilys made the hose for a little less than $43

Last thing before coming in, I put the charger on the "O"

Man was it great to get out of the house and do something :dancingbanana:

Went to pickup a yard-roller a few miles from our place. Sweet older gal asked my wife if I would get it out of her garage just before all the trouble started with my vision back in May. Well after some fiddling with the "O" the wife and I went over with the little trailer and pulled this very old yard-roller out, into trailer and back home. Man I just love the way these old Kohlers start, just a little rolling sound and away they go. All my newer stuff has this "cranky, whiny noise"

Spent the last couple evenings getting the lighting on the MF165 back in order.
Tab broke off the switch, lots of little issues... One thing begets another sometimes.

Put the freshly painted dash and side cover/belt guard on the 704 yesterday along with the dash decal and new choke and throttle cables.

Still have the fenders, tool box and steering wheel to finish but that's what winter is for around here.
