I got the PTO belt changed on the Toro 322-D. Saw some issues with wear that need addressing, but will wait til Fall. Went and picked up a Sears LT4000. Smokes like a coal locomotive, but I have a good engine on the MTD Ranch King with the locked up rear end. Ordered 3 electric fuel pumps for the Onan engines. Tired of cranking for a couple minutes to get them to start. New vacuum pump cost more than the 3 electric ones combined.

Adjusted the valves on my newly purchased Murray 2146? With 21 hp B&S, no real idea what they call it. Now it starts like it supposed to, runs smooth and the Peerless 820-037 is shifting better with each use. Lubed the spindles and hubs as wll as the steering sector and pinion, this thing drives slick for a 50" wheelbase.

I have a little Case 118 that I'm fixing up.  Had broken mower belt. B&S 11 hp smokes like crazy when warm. Replacing engine in it with one out of sears tractor.  Front tires from the sears.  Bought all new drive belts today.  Start reassembly tomorrow.

Added a second transmission to my Jim Dandy over the weekend. I love the extra gears around my obstacle filled yard.  :D tandom trans.jpg tandom trans3.jpg

Out with the old and in with the new.

Wrestled with the alligator 23 X 10.5 - 12 on Hulk II to replace a leaking valve stem. Seems to be holding well now/

I began fabricating a 2" hitch receiver mount on my Conquest. I don't need it to pull a trailer around with a ball, but I will use it to change from a small trailer (1/2" pin), to a shackle or hook for pulling my rock sled, to maybe a holder for shovels, to a weight plate bracket, or whatever else I can think of. I need to get some 2" square tubing so I can make some different things.

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk

Bought 10' of 2" square tube 1/4" wall about a month ago for $64.  Also picked up 10' of 2 1/2" square tube 1/4" wall for $75.  Both were welded tube. Price of steel keeps climbing up here.

I replaced the starter/generator belt, and the throttle and choke cables on my 1050.

Found a NOS choke cable on eBay, and got the choke cable and belt from Bolens 1000.

Got the new u-joints in the Toro PTO shaft yesterday. No Pics as it was very greasy. The neighbor brought over a spindle guard off his Dixie Chopper. Folks were using it for a step and broke/cracked around the mount bolts. Got that welded and made a bolt on support to keep that from happening again.

No, it's not time yet (hopefully), but last fall I got caught with my pants down. That's not going

to happen this year. The snow blower will be coming in the shop for service soon.
