Looks like one of those oily mess oil filter change outs since it is bottoms up. :)  What do they recommend for oil and filter change  intervals with Mobil 1?

Changed out the spindle bearings last night on the little LT. Got a few holes and cracks to deal with yet. The deck is just about done for, just hope to get a few more years out of it yet.

With the demise of the MTD mower, another machine needed to put in service. So I put the deck onto my #2 FF. First, I sharpened the blades and greased the spindles. Blades could use another sharpening, but I didn't want to get them too hot. Seems to mow well!

It was earlier this week but I put sharpened blades in the 120. Now it cuts grass!

The #2 FF needed the hydro fluid changed and a new filter. Spent most of the morning getting the drain plug out. They must have used a 10" cheater to put in in as I had to heat it to get it back out, Rounded the head. Tried welding a nut on it to back it out. Weld wouldn't stick to it. Had O'Reillys find filters for it (I thought). Ordered the Wix 51410's. That was wrong as they are for a 3/4-16 thread  screw on and the FF has a 1"-12 thread. Had to drive into Tulsa to NAPA for some 1259 filters. It's running again. Need to level the deck yet!

The rain let up a while ago, so I brought the Toro up to change it's hydro filter. Got it done & topped off. Then the #1 FF got it's turn. They all have fairly new fluid in them now.

It is a bit messy. The filter has a long service life, like 12000 miles. I don't know what this would equal in a small engine, but I'll change it once a year.

Got the FF out and leveled the deck. Mowed for about 20 minutes and smelled a belt getting hot. Had a little smoke, but couldn't figure out where from. Mowed a bit more and it sounded like something was wrapped around a blade. Looked under and saw nothing. Finally gave up and pulled the deck back off. Took the cover off and the idler bearing had given out. Went to TSC and found an idler and deck belt. They didn't have a new PTO belt. I'll have to get it later on.

Got the hydraulic lift valve rebuilt in the S16H, reinstalled it and replaced 2 hydraulic hoses. Got one more small leak to chase down, I think its the park pin on the hydro.

Installed an elec. fuel pump from NAPA on my Snapper 1855A.  Sounds like the fuel starvation problem is gone, but still have small probs.  Anything over 1/2 throttle, most times runs great but occasionally will falter requiring throttle back then it straightens out.  Then it runs great again, sometimes for short periods, sometimes the rest of the day.  Strange

Also re-assembled the sno blo'r's gear box, attached to tractor and test'd good.  I can wait until winter to check it out in snow, I'm NOT in a hurry on this test..... LOL

Ordered new shoes all way round earlier.... can't wait!!

Squire 9,

clean deck, wash off tractor, remove and sharpen blades, grease all her nipples,........all of them :D ,....anyways,.. looks like mid-mount PTO drive belt is needed, will order that next week.

Mow with the Ariens a bit, sharpen the blade (it was very dull).

I began fabricating a 2" hitch receiver mount on my Conquest. I don't need it to pull a trailer around with a ball, but I will use it to change from a small trailer (1/2" pin), to a shackle or hook for pulling my rock sled, to maybe a holder for shovels, to a weight plate bracket, or whatever else I can think of. I need to get some 2" square tubing so I can make some different things.
