Yesterday, put plow on Squire 9 and push little snow, today, took off hood and too pictures of the custom latches and headlight bar.

Well, time for working on my tractors is going to be mighty limited from here on out. With Dad's health issues, dealing with that & taking on more load from his absence, there's not much time for fun these days, and won't likely get better any time soon. I sure miss posting things I've done to my tractors, and even more, miss doing the work.
I'll take a day for fun wrenching now & then, but it's not like it used to be.

Wishing you the best, take care of him, the tractors will be there.
As for me, fine tuned carb and when for a drive until left inner wheel bearing backing plate broke and spat all the rollers, limped to the shed.

Today found my Case 444 still wishing for life. 14 hp Kohler has been a project this winter to say the least. I have replaced the head after replacing 2 head gaskets, planing the head then getting a used head off of a friend. After all that fun and games i had backfire through the carb, checked on the forum and it said get the timing set as it is point timing on that motor. so after trying to see the S mark on flywheel, bi-focals make this interesting, i found it timed it and started it. done with Case for the day.
After supper i went out to my 16hp Allis Chalmers will get model for next post, removed snow blower to reweld the drive sprocket onto the shaft chain was way to long so took a link out, it wasn't that much to long so tomorrow need to get new chain. Welded sprocket on and i think this time i got enough weld into place to hold it together.

Order outer and inner bearings, races and spacer for the Squire 9, tighten up the set screw for the steering gear, get rid of some of the slop. Remove side cover, battery side and clean a little.

Yesterday I got my oil pressure gauge line kit installed on my MF1655 with Yanmar diesel. Also pulled apart one of it's frotn end loader's lift cylinders that was leaking oil BAD. Today I pulled the other cylinder off. Will get new packing asap. Also changed out a couple tires for another GT, but one is going to need a tube. I tried patching an old tube I had, but it still leaked down, so new tube time.

I haven't been using the SS12 & blower as much this year, so it needs jumped sometimes or the trickle charger on it.
It's a PITA because I have to remove the cab to lift the hood. I added a wire from the battery + to an insulated post below the hood line that I can clamp onto. Made my day to not have to struggle next time I need to start her.

Got the lift fixed up for the blade on the S-16. Found where the problems were on the hydro linkage. Got that lubed so that works better. It was like a different tractor after a few adjustments.

This has been a heart wrenching week, to calm my nerves,....
Fixed the Squire 9, new inner, outer bearings and races for the front left wheel, packed with high temp heavy duty grease.

I likely won't touch a GT today, which is my day off farm duty. Cold out & I've had all the cold I care for. I do have to get to town sometime today to get my grandson Case a Birthday present. His party is tomorrow, but Birthday is the 16th, when he'll be at his Mom's.
Well......maybe I'll go touch a GT just cause.

I installed a front blade on my Cub 682. Had to fabricate a lift rod and a sleeve/bracket to fit on the implement lift lever. Also the tire chains I had would not fit on the 23x10.50x12 tires that were on the 682. The only other readily available tires/rims were 22.5x7.50x12 Allstates off of a Sears. I installed them and went out to play for a little while. Rick
