I was going to build one, until Al Gore ruined it for everybody when he eliminated deep snow!!  :boo_hoo:

 

It was actually OSHA approved, until the operator got his necktie caught in the drum!!  :tapping_fingers:

 

I wonder if my 2 neighbors will miss their 250 gallon propane tanks before winter?    :D

A friend of mine has a large collection of Fordson's in Gainsville, GA. and has one of these. It is a very cool machine. I'll look and see if I have any photos to post.

I believe that was a Allis tractor, not sure, I dont know why it wouldn't work, My ariens has a rear PTO shaft, it looks like there is some sort of rear transmission with a dual pulley for the screws

At one point, they zoom in on the back and there is two sprockets that have chains running down to the cylinders. They showed how the sprockets operate independent of each other so that it can steer similar to a skid steer. Its an interesting setup for sure. Maybe a regular differential would work using independent brakes for steering.
