Looks like a decent money making opportunity.

Good condition 314 Deere that does not currently start. I mowed with this for a couple years and it worked good but last year started having problems starting. I replaced the coil, points, and plug but the mower keeps blowing the coil. I have heard that this may be the voltage regulator but I ended up purchasing another mower and this one needs to go. I have replaced some of the pulleys and bearings on the deck and upgraded the blades to Gator Blades. This would be a good mower for somebody that has the time and experience to get it going. Located between Brookville, Batesville, Metamora, Indiana. Asking $350 and will consider trades for go kart, youth dirt bike or atv, bushhog, 3pt finish mower, etc..

On one of those 314's a lot depends on what it looks like up close. They can be expensive to rebuild and weak spots include the motor mounts, drive shaft couplers and the steering system. The rear wheel bearings are also expensive if they need replacment. They have a strong Dana rearend and sundstrand hydro.

larryd great looking 314! Do you wear ear protection as that has to be loud?

Steve No I don't , but it is louder than I expected. Some of my daytime sleeping neighbors say they know when I start it . I'm considering trying to find a original muffler at a reasonable price .
