I have a smallish beef roast im going to stick in the bbq tomorrow.. It's going to spin the day away.. I did buy some wood to stuff in the "smoker" this nat gas grill has.. I hope it adds to the flavour..  I will post up pics either as i go or after supper.. Hope it turns out other wise the dogs will be eating good and i will have to fork out for pizza (what a let down that would be).

Sounds great!!! Am I invited?????  :smilewink:

My son smoked a beef brisket using a commercial smoker I have and some wood from the neighbor's apple tree.... some of the best meat I've ever eaten....

I never could understand why some people are vegetarians... a guy at work who was a big-time hunter had a sticker in his rear window:

VEGETARIAN--Old Indian word for "Lousy Hunter"

Ummmmmmm, this might count as a tiny slice of torture. Not only do we not get to see anything till MUCH later but there's no hope of tasting OR smelling this goodness later on today. Hope it all works out and do give us a bit more warning next time for those of us that live further away.....we need more time for traveling so we can be there for supper on time  .

I was just noticing your post/thanks ratio. I suppose it's threads like this that are responsible for it.

I know the feeling!!!

If my wife says anything about all my bbqing.. Im blaming you :poke:  .. I usually do it twice a week.. not four or five times like what has been going on here.Every time i try something new i get from her.. Ohh that's better.. Hmmm.. makes me want to try again and a little different.. I'm catching as much juice as i can today.. I need to make gravy.. Gotta have gravy over the spuds and onions..
