It happens and life is too short to deal with attitudes like that!! I passed on a Ford 861 because of the attitude.

Many years ago i got a pretty good size income tax return and was looking for a car.

The import dealership in Des Moines hat a Volvo P something? Sports wagon on the pedestal.
Mind you I was wearing jeans and a T shirt and asked the salesman how much?
His response was it does not matter you could not afford it!!
I showed him a roll of money, and said your right I could never deal with you.
That dealer has had other cars I would have liked but i will nevr deal with him.

That is a nice little MF, but the guy is full of himself. He also doesn't know what he's talking about when he says put a bigger engine in it.

I had two MF7s--one had been repowered with an 8 hp Tecumseh by the PO... They had to cut out part of the side brace and the edge of the hood to put the (slightly) bigger engine in.

I ended up repowering the butchered one with a 10 hp Tecumseh OHV... It bolted in fine, but there was some work involved getting the other things routed--like exhaust, air cleaner, etc.

Mom used is to mow her lawn and loves it--quick and nimble, real good turning radius.

While you're at it..........punctuation.........spacing.........and remind him that not everyone understands things like this (  ;-0<  ). You know animals have the SPCA, Humane

Society and other organizations looking out for their best interest maybe we need to start a tractor organization so we can go in and remove tractors that aren't being cared for

by responsible and decent people. I already have my name on the list to be a Foster Parent or a Tractor Rehabilitater for after the tractors are removed. I've also put this MF7 on the list for immediate removal.  :bigrofl:

If you can walk in there, slam down your $350 and load it up, no questions asked, you'll be fine.

But if your a GTT member and have to :poke: , brace yourself. Um, hum!!

That's a really good idea. I wish someone had thought of that before now.

Considering how some tractors look when we finally get them, there ought to be a rule about how bad you can treat your tractor before a kind, caring collector comes and gets to take it home for care.  Some people just shouldn't be allowed to own a tractor.

I've saw and heard many sad stories of tractor abuse--the deprivation; withholding necessary fuel and oil, overworking, and outright assault with a poorly used welder and torch.... there ought to be a law...
