Remember the 2414 tractor I bought about a month ago, turns out it was a lot worse than I thought, so it's going to be a total re build.  I am going to add a three point hitch, from a John Deere 318 that I picked up at an auction for $30. I built the toplink connector yesterday'   I will also add a hydraulic lift from a Gilson tractor that I can't get a right angle gear box or parts for. Really nice tractor but worthless without the gearbox.  The hydraulic pump is the same as used on older PKs except it turns in the opposite direction.  Not an insurmountable problem and probably an improvement because I will be able to still get my foot on the clutch.

Picture of the front axle from the 2414.  I measured from the bottom of the piece where the draglink attaches to the center of the axle  and compared it to a 1614 PK to get the  5/8"   longer dimension mentioned in another post

The PK looks pretty good even in the before picture. Those old sleds are simple designs aren't they. Those are both nice projects!

No, all I've got is the 2 lift arms.

Should have thought that you wouldn't get a 318 for $30 lol  If I didn't mentioned to you , you might want to add some bracing to the lower lift arm attachment points,  my 2418 came with a broken frame and that caused the trans. to break , if I repeating myself that's just old age lol
