Might Try and get the family loaded up and ride over. Last year was just too hot to try and walk around, this year looks like it will be different.

Trying to figure out how to get out that way.  I went last year and really enjoyed it despite the heat, but the heat was brutal.  It is looking like it will be milder this year.

It's looking like I'll be going either Friday or Saturday.  Anyone familiar enough with the show to say which day might be better?

Scott, what is the "policy" about bringing equipment to show?  You obviously plan to show up just for one day, do they let you do that?

Not sure of the policy at this one, but at the two I have been too so far, they were easy to deal with, did not have a problem with me coming in late and staying one day. I was in the back of the shows both times since I was one of the last in to show.

Critter.....I am probably not going to go till Friday......I forgot Thursday was the 4th when I posted earlier!! I am going to have to do some family stuff on Thursday......so that leaves me heading out Friday instead. I have a customer and friend in Winston I need to call tomorrow - I am hoping he is going to be there Friday......trying not to go on Saturday since I have a good bit to of repairs to do around the house.

If you come through my way on Thursday I can meet you on 70 if you want to get those Massey parts.

My load- show was wet and muddy on Friday. Thanks to Newrestorer for letting me use his space. Wish I could have hung around for today but too much to do at home. They auctioned off a bush hog v4-7 yesterday and it went for good money.image.jpg

I took my two oldest boys with me to the SOTR today.  It was a soupy, muddy mess, starting at the parking lot, however the day itself was just about as perfect as you could ask for.  Met a number of friendly folks, had a really good time looking at all the tractors.  We arrived about 10, left about 4, and I felt like I saw a lot of the show, but would have enjoyed having several more hours to look around.  I'm going to post a number of pictures unless one of the mods stops me because I'm using too much space  :rolling:
