i am helping a co-worker work on his RX73 rear engine rider.  His drive belt kept slipping off and i found that the spring on the tension pulley was missing.  it was part number M91468 and falls under the VARIATOR, ENGINE JACKSHEAVE, PRIMARY AND SECONDARY IDLERS AND BELTS section in the jd parts catalog online.  The problem is i think something else is missing because i cant figure out where the spring goes.  If anyone has a rear engine rider and has information on this please let me know.  Pictures would be helpful if anyone has any of those too.

1964Deere:

I have the RX73 Riding Mower Operator's Manual. It has diagrams (and some pictures) of changing the drive and mower belts, along with lots of maintenance info. If it would help, I could scan it in and send you a copy. Let me know, and I'll try to get around to it in the next couple of days.

I just picked up a Deere Rx 73.  It needs some work, but sounds good.  Did I read that someone has a manual for this?  If so, any information and or literature would be a great help.  Thank you.  I hope to hear back soon.

I have a RX75 and I know it shares the same manual at the RX73. Would anyone have this manual available in pdf format?

If you find the *.pdf, I could surely use a copy too!
