You got it. Like someone here said, just figuring out the ways it shouldn't be done.

So I got the rims painted and time to mount them again. I had popped the bead to get to the edge better. Now they don't want to hold any air.  :wallbanging:  I had real slow leaks before, but now they don't last a day. Guess it is time for tubes after pushing it off for as long as possible.

Finally, she drove out on her own power! Needs a bit of adjusting yet, but wow, it makes a difference. I just had to take her for a spin tonight. Hooked up the toolbar and drug that through the garden. At one point the plant debris bunched up and without the split brakes she would have been stuck. It was just stop the spinning wheel and she went again. With a muffler on again, I forgot how quiet it can be. Also had to run in the dark a little to try out the new lights.

It was great to sit on a GT again, spent the summer just using the LT. What a difference!

Bad news, camera is broke and I only found out when I went to take pictures of it all together.

Grabbed my wife's camera and went back out. Just didn't get as good in the dark.

Still need to adjust it to get the pedals even.

Got a set of two link chains on now. I think they will be a lot better than the four link set I had before.

I just read thru from the beginning. Great news that she is ack together, quieter, and the only thing left is some fine tuning.

Thanks Shorty, I used some of the ideas from this thread for my build.

The finished product can be seen here.

It has Turning Brakes, Hydro Foot Control and a Neutral Safety switch as some of it's upgrades.
