Well, I decided to give my self a present (or two) for being old this year (I'm officially out of the target demographic of television advertisers now). :mad2:

On eBay this week I purchased the Bolens 900 in Wisconsin and just tonight the 1455 in Big Lake Minnesota.  Fortunately I have relatives in both states as Minnesota is truely home.

So in a few weeks ROAD TRIP!  :dancingbanana:  from California to Minnesota - Wisconsin and back.

I should have my head examined :wallbanging:

Next quest, an FEL and backhoe for the 1455, oh crap, I'm worse off than I thought . . .

I think you got the Bolens Bug now!

Isn't it funny how once you get one they multiply so quickly!

I already have 3 of them :D

I like having a little of everything, too many duplicates take up too much room!

Well, this is absolutely crazy.

If you're driving all the way from CA. to WS. why wouldn't you just keep

going, and pick up that deal in Maine, and the just blast on down to FL., and

grab those 2 sitting down there. :D  Heck, when you're going by ONT. stop in

and say Hi.

I wish I was doing what you're about to.

Why not really make a trip out of it and fly in and ride one home?  :smilewink:

Cat, I love excavators, I also have a D9H, but sadly not enough work for it so it pretty much sits since it is so pricey to move.  I was thinking about having a "crush a lemon" party where for $25.00 a draw you get to run over a car with the D9.

Thanks for your offer, my oldest brother actually lives on Eagle Lake there at Big Lake, so he will pick it up.  Had many a breakfast at that little old restaurant on the main drag.  Again, thank you for your kind offer, this is a great forum.

I heard that Phizer is working on an experimental drug for our condition, but the trials have not gone as they hoped. In one of the studies it was reported that the condition got dramatically worse after taking the pill for 30 days!

In another study it only seemed to curb the desire to buy anything that was Green.

So... I signed up as a volunteer for the research :D

On a serious note, that sounds great! Good luck on your road trips!

C130A....sounds like a lot of fun and a great excuse for a ton of junk food to keep you happy and awake. I just noticed you location in CA......ever heard of Exeter? Of course you have since it's a straight shot out of Visalia on 198. I lived in Exeter for a few years back in my teens and can thank Visalia hospital for taking out my ruptured Spleen. Loved my time out there. Safe travels to you.

My '53 D2 is running but, I have lots to do to avoid using so much starter fluid to get the pony goin'.

All kinds of cleanup, grease, oil, paint is in the D2's future. Then the poor CAT will perhaps be a lawn ornament.

Besides fallin' asleep reading manuals what else is a CAT for? Guess I'll make a path through the woods?

I don't know what deck goes on this thing?

Glad you are getting yourself a birthday present, but at 51 years old, there are still a lot of TV advertisements just for you (and me)!
