87 octane e-10 was $3.99/ gallong here two days ago. 89 e-10 was $4.15, and 91 e-10 was $ 4.59. I forgot to look at the on-road diesel price - It was hovering just over 4 bucks earlier in the week though..

Owie! It's gotta cost ya $20 to mow the dang lawn!
In the land of the highest state taxes (except 'up north') its ~$3.60/ gallon.. ($0.75) IS all taxes I've read- We should be proud!! We're higher than California!! http://www.forbes.co...t-in-gas-taxes/
paving the yard would be cheaper.. I might mow half as often.. not that i'm on the ball for mowing yet.. Its already 10 inches high..

We are at about 1.26/l here or 4.49/US gallon. I'm surprised our prices here on the East Coast seem to be lower than other spots in Canada. We are usually higher. They set the prices every Friday so they may have gone up yesterday. They generally go up in the summer with more demand!
I live 40 miles from a few refineries.. They can't say its a jump in trucking cost of the fuel to the station. It's really disgusting.
- Texas Deere and Horse and WNYTractorTinkerer have said thanks

Do you think a fuel truck actually pays for fuel? Really?

Your forgetting that they have to truck it 150 miles away to a terminal, then truck it back 110 miles to the station.

When gas prices spike like this, I just wish I was a little fly on the wall to see what socio-political silliness caused it.
In a word: GREED!!!
Jumped from $3.19/gal to $3.89 in about two weeks, most of that in 4 days! Back down to $3.79 yesterday. I paid $4.29 for the only ethanol free gas available here (92 octane) a few days ago, $80+ worth! ~~ Lowell
