Just my opinion & not wanting to offend, but the brush guard looks way out of proportion to me.  If it were smaller......

I agree but if I cut 6" off either side it might look better. Something for the future maybe. As of now the factory bumper is on it.

The exhaust manifold doesn't look good but I'm impressed for my first time building one.

I still have along way to go but here is the way it sits

Any hood will look good, once it is painted all the same color!!

Ive got new ags for the rear.  I need to get the correct throttle cable and lever.  I may go ahead and put the seat pan from the allis on as well.  They hydraulics are another issue and of course the sleeve hitch.

You say you are looking for a tractor that does all you want it to. I, too have been searching. The closest I have found thus far is my FF 20 Sears. Thought the LGT 165 Ford was great, but this tractor shames the Ford!

This is as close as I can get to one GT tractor that does it all. 3 point hitch, nice ride, it will even cut grass with a 60" deck, if it had to.

Power steering, steering brakes, tilt wheel, adjustable seat.

Sounds like a Harley Davidson, uber-manuverable, and does everything fast because it has excellent power to size ratio.

I could add remote hydraulics, but in the 20 years that I owned its predecessor, I never found a use for the aux. hydraulics.

I had a slight mental breakdown. Scrapped a lot, bush hogged my gardens, let all my animals go. I'm just tired. A lot of life stuff going on. Anyhow I'm back and doing better. I did keep this tractor and have been using it. I'm not horribly happy with the dash and hood so I may change it yet again. I'll mess with that at a later date. I've got to make a hitch as plowing season is near. I have been thinking about paint. We use valspar at work and I really like this yellow. Sterling yellow to be exact. Posted Image

Hang in there David, things will get better.  Ya can't force it though, so just take things easy.  Hoping you get to come to my plow day.  That yeller looks great!

I've decided to continue on with this. It's such a good tractor to drive and has started easily every time I needed it. I was thinking about calling it a mtd special. I've got sheet metal from a pos mtd statesman. If I add that most of the parts will be mtd. The hitch I got from Bobby was bent. I pulled the lower part and the rocker arm support. I got them mounted. I'd like to get this hitch done today.

I hate these hydraulic lines. The good thing about them is they are easily reversible by loosening on bolt. I rotated them to the back and am working on the Rock shaft.

I'll have to find some sort of Bush Hog part to bolt to it.  You have a few makes involved already.....gotta love it, that's what I do, blending!  Good to see you are pushing on with this tractor.  You have the worst covered already.  Less than 2 weeks left!

it should be plow ready tonight. All I need to finish the hitch is a 7/8 drill bit. I've got a call out to my neighbors lol.
