It looks exactly like this, I bought it for parts. I am hoping to use some of the gearing in my 1254?
I have a diagram for the 1254, but I do not know the model of this one, three speed only. My 1254 is a 6 speed tore it down to rebuild it.
I have another 1254 Wisconsin TRA-8 no points or condensor, quit firing after I bought it. It came equipped with an solid state ignition module mounted on engine cover, need help figuring out what to do?

Welcome to GTTalk!
The two gentlemen above are the most knowledgeable about Bolens, so I'd follow their advice and and let them tell you the model and anything else you want to know!

Hello Everyone
I want to Thank you for the wonderful welcome.
I would like to know should I tear the old one apart use what I can from transmission or try to find transmission for my 1254.
The old model tractor has been setting for years locked up and rusty, High rangs is out of my 1254, pictures are loading now.
I have another 1254, total of two with electrical module bolted to cap over flywheel. It will not fie the plug now, I have searched for it and also tried to figure out how to revamp another? This Wisconsin motor does not have a place for any points or condenser? What can I do?
