I know nothing about these, and looking for a bit of

info/guidance. I have an opportunity to get this one, but

am unsure of what I should be looking out for.

Any help, greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Looks like one that someone close to me has. I pushed a lot of gravel and snow with one of those in the mid 60s. It was a running machine! Not sure what you would need to look for. That one look to be in great shape. Good luck with it if you buy it. Roger.

We call them Gibson Lever Steer in this area. I believe it is actually a Model D

Built very heavy and last forever,, Most of them had a push blade on them, however some had front mounted mowers. I suspect there were other attachments although I'm not aware of them.

Is that the correct engine for it?

What sort of money do things normally go for?

The normal engine was an AEH. You do see the AHH on them and some have claimed they were an option. Something in that shape I'd figure 1000-1500 range.

Great old Gibson.

I couldn't resist. I'm a weak, weak person, and the deal we made was just too good. :smilewink:

It belonged to a business acquaintance/friend. I'll be bringing it home on the weekend.

I knew this was going to happen! LOL
Glad you bought it buddy, it'll get a good home and you'll enjoy driving it.
Just watch hitting something with the front tires, the tiller steer is a little unforgiving if you connect with something solid.
