I had a man bring a Model 23 Briggs engine this morning, he says it's a 16hp. I don' t think it that big is it?

The 23D was 9hp and a good engine.

Brian, Briggs had the 23AFB listed as 9 hp @ 3600 rpm.

Its a torquer though. 15.75 ft lb at 2400 rpm. Its an l head engine. 22.9 cubic inch engine hence he 23. I love mine. Its 9 horse but it feels like 18. My allis b10 can throw more snow farther than my crapsman 18 hp could. This is using the exact same snow blower too.
