Where is a good site to date Clinton engines, buy model or SN?

You can get a "round about" date, but nothing exact.

The c700 ilp was issued in 1954 and 127 was a early variation number.It is in the 1955 revised variation numbers

Some of the clintons have a block casting date near the output shaft. Again, not exact but a good starting point. I've never seen a serial list for Clintons like the ones for Briggs.

Well this motor is on a DB and the seller swears its the original motor.

The tractor is a 5751, 1946-1949.

I looked there but didn't find any info on model numbers, is there place that lists these but model and year?
