Can anyone determine the year of this Bolens; Model 1467 Serial Number Ø1ØØ333 ?

So far lots dismantled, hardware in oil (most will be "new" during assembly.

Using lots of PB Blaster on this neglected Eliminator 1402, has been outdoors for a few years.

Will be using lots of Never-Seez° during re-assembly.

According to a list I have, the 1467 -01 (1402G) was built in 1986 and 1987.

If you can determine the year that the engine was built, that would narrow it down.  Bolens typically used engines one year 'older' that the tractor.  So it your engine was built in 1985 you would have a 1986.

ETA:

I didn't pay real close attention the the serial number!   I just looked at the first two which is the production run :(

With a serial number of 00333, it would have been the 233rd one built, which would make it a 1986

Well you Old  Buzzard! Flying high, know your stuff.

The engine tag I haven't found on any of the sheetmetal engine tins. I'll keep lookin'.

I've always thought of a Bolens, was foolish and gave two old tube frame tractors away.

One was running, a 12 hp Wisconsin (maybe?). This "old buzzard" memory lapse at times.

Those tube frames I only owned one day, delivered and picked up on July 4th sometime back.

The trans on those two had a high and low range.

Thanks for the info Buzz!

I would agree that your Eliminator is most likely a 1986 Model.....

The Eliminator has the Peerless manual tranny.

I drained, will flush, and add new 90W. There is a "B" on the diagram for filling the transmission.

Can't find "B." Might that be the bolt that passes thru the channel and helps support the transmission or did I look around too quickly?

Filling using the plug at "A" would be a pain in the you-know-what.  :shoot2:
