I guess I'm finally getting known around this parts for messing with GTs. I man I sold some JD parts to a while back came by the shop with a 67 Round Fender 110 that looked kinds rough at first glance. The thing had a111 hood sitting on top of it and over sized front tires and wheels from a later model 100-200 Series. Seems to have good compression and the variator moves full travel. The rear tires are in really nice shape also. The wiring is all messed up, total rewire and also will need a hood He said he wanted $75.00 for it, so I took the deal.

Sounds like a good deal to me. Plus they delivered it to you. Shame they replaced the hood but I am sure you will find one before long.

I like those kind of deliveries.  For the price and the service, that was a great deal!

That's awesome, I'm just getting into these vintage GT's and I think those old round fender JD's are one of the best looking.
I think I'm going to try and find me one after I get my first one ( the Garden Mark Squire ) going!

I want to get this 67 110 rf running and the wiring is all hacked up. I am looking for a diagram to rewire this tractor. Thanks

Brian,

Bring it along up with you when you come to the Dover Show next month, and plan on leaving it here. I'll work on getting it running, and get you all of the pieces you need to make it cosmetically original again. Who knows, maybe even do a little extra to it.. :smilewink:

If you can get it here, I'll make sure it will be done for you by next years show. Just willing to help you out if you want it. That reminds me, I have a tractor to get done for NutNDun too.

Thanks Troy, I might take you up on it. My Daughter is wanting to restore it for her 4H project this year, but it maybe more then she can do in a school year.
