At the Jacktown Swap Meet and Flea Market I got to see Casey and his dad again also met his mom. I bought a DB sickle bar that was modified at some point for parts for $10 and a 8' alum. brake for $100 , I might go back and buy a Allis Landlord that looked to be in nice shape with snowthrower and 42" deck for the B10 I got this week , with a asking price of $125 now that I'm thinking I should have just bought it

Al, I hate to say it, but you should have bought it. Just saying.
Glad you got the other things. Seems like good prices.

allis landlord is that made by simplicity? if so the decks are the best you can get imo. parts are still available too.

Nice score on the brake and the sickle bar, looks like you got a couple of real good deals! Look on the bright side you may have missed one deal but the money's still in your pocket for the next one that pops up!

Great deals you got there! Does the mower have what you need to fix the one with the shake?

I'm thinking of removing the whole sickle bar and after sharpening the teeth try that on the 600 . I only looked at the flea market one a little but allready see that the cutting bar moves pretty easy , easier then the on on the 600 , wonder if that binding is causing the shake ?
