Brought home the B10 a friend gave me . Not in too bad of shape , 1st thing was to power wash it , replaced the fuel line ,the tank wasn't dirty :dancingbanana:  Tried starting but enough spark to let you know it but not enough to spark . Read a post hereon someone switching over to battery  ignition , so I dug up a Kohler coil and condenser ,rigged a wire to the points and a alligator  clip to the + so I had spark but still no go  Next  step , no compression , put some compressed air down the spark plug hole just after the intake valve closed and air just blew out the exhaust , spun the motor a few time and it just blew out the whole time . Removed the head free the stuck open exhaust ,   :dancingbanana:  it runs , but not too  good , pulled the carb and cleaned it , now it runs but will need new plug ,air filter and will reset the points.  It's going to need some deck work , saw the center  pulley  leaning forward  . Enough for today ,  .

Al, That is a very nice looking B10, and you got one with power lift, hard to find and pricey.

Way to go.

Nice catch.

I like driving those. It's a strange feeling, having your feet on the deck

as it floats up and down, with the front axle.

Nice B-10 Al! Looks like it is mostly all there except for the arm rests and supports.

I didn't think the B10 had the swivel frame. I thought just the little guys did (the ones with 8" wheels)

Nice looking B10 Al,
Good chance the mag has a bad ground and it needs a new condenser. The engine needs pulled to do that tho.

B10 did not have a pivoting frame and though I suppose you could ride along with your feet on the deck I would not recommend it. It is an awfully good way to get them pinched between the deck and the foot rests. I once got my heel caught between the bail assembly and the foot rest some 40 years ago. Was a hard learned lesson.
