First one is an early Simplicity, I think a 725.
Second one looks like an early Ariens???

u can faintly read chief on the second one. could it be jacobson

I thought Jacobson at 1st glance, I see a briggs engine.

The second one looks like a Jacobsen Chief 100A, probably a 62-63. with a 7 hp Kohler. I hope you can get them those Jac's are hard to find. Good luck  :thumbs:

wat do u think a fare price is for both of them. the lady wants me to tell her what i wanta pay. I hate when people do that. but what do u think. both need tires, seats, belts, and god only knows what else. both motors turn my hand and have compression

I think $100 for the pair would be fair.Thats probably a little over scrap price.

I'm not very familiar with Jacobsen grill's of that era but that looks identical to an Ariens grill behind those headlights.
